PL7600 is Procera Networks' mid-range member of the PacketLogic product family. It is a conveniently packaged 1 RU rack-mounted appliance with one gigabit Ethernet (GE) channels which enables a maximum throughput of 2 Gbps. This makes PL7600 suitable for edge deployments in broadband networks.

All PacketLogic platforms run the same firmware which gives PL7600 the feature-richness that PacketLogic is renowned for and that makes it the preferred carrier-grade DPI product for Broadband Service Providers (BSP). It also enables PL7600 and PL7620 to co-exist in networks with multiple PL7600s, but also PL5600, PL7620 and the high-end ATCA chassis PL10000.

DRDL™ (Datastream Recognition Definition Language) is at the core of what makes PacketLogic stand out from the competition. This state-of-the-art traffic identification and classification engine drives all PacketLogic platforms from the PL10000 to the PL5600.
