AC-2500 Clustering Capability
In a NetEnforcer cluster, each device takes on an equal part of the total traffic load. This "division of labor" is achieved by using the network routers and/or switches to divert specific portions of the traffic to specific NetEnforcers in the cluster and to balance the load while ensuring that the traffic of each subscriber is processed by the same NetEnforcer device.
The clustering capability of Allot NetEnforcer provides control-as-you-grow solutions that scale from the smallest throughput requirements to 10 Gbps and beyond. In addition, clustered configurations enable multi-Gigabit NetEnforcer solutions in SONET networks and other environments with unique interface requirements.
