Internet Global Data Solutions Corporation was founded in 1999 by Stephen J. Hyer. This is a privately held company started for the purpose of publishing free content to websites in the area of feature motion films and educational content for K-12 students. As the company began developing these websites and resources online, several website designers had been hired and because of that the company began doing very limited work for other companies creating their websites. As the company’s websites began to attract more traffic, we acquired our own hardware to host these websites and consequently we began hosting other companies’ websites.
Our Educational Content websites were a great success. We continued building on these resources as the traffic kept increasing and consequently our revenues continued increasing. However, as ad revenues started to decline industry wide we were quick in proactively planning the future of the company.
The company transitioned into working only for other companies handling their Internet and Website needs. Since the year 2000, our client has list has grown from only a few companies to over 200 different companies. IGD Solutions Corporation has positioned itself as a full service website provider offering a vast range of services to meet any companies’ needs.
In 2004, IGD Solutions Corporation expanded its client base by partnering with Netastic, a website design, development, and hosting company based in Troy, Michigan to do all the back end technical work related to supporting its clients. IGD Solutions Corporation provides all the hosting infrastructure and technical support for each of Netastic’s clients.
In 2005, IGD Solutions Corporation acquired a small website design, development, and hosting company in Milford, Michigan called Blackwillow. IGD Solutions Corporation integrated each of these clients into the existing infrastructure which has allowed us to increase the level of service and support while keeping prices consistent. We are able to offer additional services and better technical support for these clients at the same great rates they have been paying.
In 2006, we entered the bandwidth management market by hiring an experienced sales person based in Okalahoma City with relationships with 100 current accounts. By bringing this sales person on board, we have expanded quickly in this market by continuing to service these existing accounts while growing our account base with new clients. Bandwidth management devices are a hardware product that requires warranty and support renewals annually. Our target market for these devices include colleges, universities, libraries, school districts, and Internet service providers.
Today we focus on growing our business through proven Business Networking and Direct Selling techniques to continually attract new clients and then to work with them over a long period of time helping them grow while keeping their Internet, Website, and Bandwidth Management strategy current, continually working for that company.
